Sneaky Leprechaun for St. Patrick’s Day

Last year a sneaky leprechaun came to visit us for St. Patrick’s Day and my boys thought it was so funny!  When  they woke up I told them, “I think a leprechaun came to our house last night, let’s go look!” First we looked in the bathroom and here is what we found…

Yes, I did feel awkward photographing my toilet.

Giggles erupted as we saw that the leprechaun had peed in our toilet!  We had to check the other bathrooms, fast.  (Thank goodness I remembered to do this to all of the toilets, it was a well hydrated leprechaun!)

Then we saw on the table that our leprechaun was so nice and left us some gold!gold

I will be doing this again this year, as my boys thought it was so fun.  I think I might add this cute Leprechaun milk with mustache straw.

To make the little footprints, I used a green Dry Erase Crayon.  I bet finger paints would work just as well.  And for the green “pee” I used a blue and yellow tablet that you could put in the kids bath to turn colors. I’m sure a few drops of green food coloring would work just as well.  Have fun with it!dry erase crayons

  1. What a cute idea! The footprints make the day! We’ll have to remember this for next year. It’s my kind of humour!
